Have you ever wondered what it would be like to face a group of lions? Cardinal’s Bassam Chamaa did just that and won!
Well, they weren’t real lions, but during Airline Information’s virtual Lions Den session last week (originally planned for their Airline & Travel Payments Summit), Cardinal was judged to have the best product out of all the companies who presented. Each gave a five-minute pitch, followed by five minutes of questions from the Lions (the panel of judges from the travel payments industry).
The Lions were Madeleine Anderson, executive chair of AI events; Laurie Gablehouse, global head of travel solutions at Ingenico ePayments; and Zach Ornelas, VP of global network sales for Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP). MC of the event was Wendy Ward, SVP of marketing and communications for UATP.
The judges named Cardinal’s authentication solution as the best product pitched, based on Cardinal’s global reach, ability to handle the regulatory challenges in Europe, and the fact that they work with all card schemes and devices. Congrats to Bassam Chamaa for presenting and fielding questions.
If you’d like to talk about how Cardinal can help your company address these challenges, let’s talk.
